EAB Found in Marysville; Union Co. Now Under Quarantine (10/16/2007)
Union County is now part of the Ohio Department of Agriculture’s (ODA) emerald ash borer quarantine. After receiving a call about a suspect tree, ODA officials discovered EAB in an ash tree in Marysville. The tree was located in a fencerow setting near the intersection of Collins Avenue and Linden Street. Department officials quarantined Union County to help stop the spread of the devastating insect via ash trees and firewood.
